The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition is the most developed and polished edition of the game ever. The enhancements include not only from the previous DLCs and upgrades, but also new never seen before content is included. The gameplay is extended by 4 hours of new quests, set in new locations. The storytelling of the game is made deeper thanks to 35 minutes of never before seen cutscenes and cinematics. The PC version will also include over 100 further improvements to the gameplay.
The player is Geralt of Rivia, a professional monster slayer, a witcher. Entangled in the political turmoil that engulfed Temeria, Geralt helped quell the rebellion of the Order of the Flaming Rose. Soon after, he saved King Foltest’s life when the monarch was attacked by a witcher-like assassin. He continues to protect the king, serving as his bodyguard as Foltest strives to bring peace to his kingdom.

The Witcher 2 is a quite decent sequel to the original, you'll notice many of the game mechanics are the same. The graphics have gotten a huge facelift of course, though the mini-games aren't as good (arm wrestling, fist-fighting...) and seem a little dumbed down. Please pay attention to the system requirements, because this one really eats up your GPU like nothing else.
Loading screens are quite short though, especially compared to the original game. Overall, if you liked the first Witcher, you'll be right at home with this one's similar mechanics and continued story. This edition beefs up the game with even more fixes and tweaks here and there but like any epic RPG there are still some bugs to tolerate.
